#KillerByOliviaHowe Book review of "Killer" by Olivia Howe. First book in her Novella Series.

I was asked to do a book review for the book "Killer" by Olivia Howe. It's the first book in her Novella Series. It's a murder mystery. A serial killer that is nicknamed Doc, is killing girls in Valentino County. The book starts off with a grusome account of the killer, enjoying the screams of a woman he is torturing. He wants to see the fear in her eyes, and the desperation in her breathing. Then he slits her throat.

2 police officers have been working this serial killer case for 8 months. The main officer Gwen, she lives and breaths this case. It's on her mind 24 hours a day. They are always 2 steps behind the killer. Her partner, worries that this case is going to kill her. But after the murder, they get information that starts to connect the case. They get more info from were the victim works.

The end of the story is the beginning of the next title "Savage"
The book is a good fast read. It took me about an hour to read it. I enjoyed the story very much. I have since bought the next book in the series to read. I am very interested to what happens to the police officer Gwen when she meets a handsome stranger in a bar, while she is trying to let off a little steam from the case. If you like Mystery/Murder/Suspense this Novella Series is just what your looking for.
