I was looking for an easier way to reduce the look of wrinkles and blotchy skin. I will tell you that I usually go to the Dermatologist, or the Plastic Surgeon to get a chemical peel.. I do this about every 6 to 8 months, and it cost close to a thousand dollars everytime. Since I am not working I have been looking at alternative ways to get youthful looking skin that glows.
I know these serums can be quite strong, but I decided to try the TCA 45% Deep Chemical Peel. In the directions, it states if you have sensitive skin, or never used a chemical peel, to do a patch test. And wait 24-48 hours to see if it causes a chemical reaction. Basically, a chemical peel takes off the top few layers of skin, to reveal younger looking skin that has not been exposed to chemicals or sun.
When you first use this, you may have to dilute the TCA up to 3 or 4 times. It takes some time for your skin to get used to it. You wash and dry your face. Apply the TCA evenly on the skin. And wash off after 3 to 4 minutes. There will be some tingling, and stinging to the skin, and a lot of redness.
After a week or so, you will notice some dry patches of skin falling off. It's like having a sunburn, and the skin comes off. The directions say to let it fall off naturally. You will notice the more brighter softer skin underneath. I highly recommend being very careful with this product. It can burn the skin if you don't dilute it.
My skin is very sensitive, and I dilute the formula 4 times. And I still get a burning sensation. But I like the way my skin feels and looks after I use the TCA. It's not as good as going to the Dermatologist, but it is a lot cheaper, and it works pretty well. I gave the product 4 stars. I am happy with my purchase. The price is an excellent value. I was given this product for free or at a reduced price, for my honest and truthful unbiased review. All opinions are my own. I am a consumer, and I personally buy and use every product I review.
