It's about time I upgraded my turners or flippers (as I call them) in my kitchen. I have these old metal ones that have seen their last days. They scrape my pans, can't pick up the food, they really just need to be thrown away. I was browsing on amazon, and I saw this set which has all the flippers I need, so I bought it.
I have never used silicone flippers before. When I got them I was very excited. They are FDA approved, BPA free, Petroleum free, and odor and stain resistant. I have been using them for the last couple weeks, and I wonder why I never ordered them before. I guess I thought they would be too expensive. It makes cooking so much easier. Food doesn't stick to the pan, the silicone doesn't scratch it. And they really are heat resistant.
I like that the handles are silicone too. Your hand doesn't slip, and you don't feel the heat on the handle when you are flipping the food. They come clean with just soap and water. Directions say not to use a scrubber on the turners, it can scratch the surface. I gave the product 5 stars. I am very happy with my purchase.
