I bought this for my Aunt. She's from Pakistan, and is always making Samosas (little round circles stuffed with veggies), and breads. But lately I find myself using it more than her. I like to make pizza for my nephew. He only likes cheese, and likes the dough really thin. So I let him help me make his personal pizza.
The roller is made of a hard wood, and stainless steel. What I like to do is put a few drops of coconut oil on it so the dough doesn't stick to the roller. The directions also say to keep the roller slightly oiled so it doesn't get dry, and hard to roll. I don't know if it is dishwasher safe, but I wash it with a little soap and water, and dry it off.
I am very happy with my purchase. I have had no problems with the roller since I bout it a couple of weeks ago. The price is an excellent value for the quality of the roller. I was given this product for free or at a reduced price, for my honest and truthful unbiased review. All opinions are my own. I am a consumer. I personally use every product that I review.
